Meta has acknowledged using posts from Facebook and Instagram users to train its new artificial intelligence assistant, Meta AI. Meta AI is a conversational assistant that can respond to text queries and generate realistic images from text prompts. Some users have raised concerns about privacy and ethical issues, arguing that Meta did not obtain explicit consent to use their posts. Meta stated that it will continue to use public posts to improve Meta AI and other AI features.
